Handling Services
Moldavian Airlines Ground Handling Department started its activity in September 2000. Our prime objectives are: safety on ground, punctuality of the operation, comfort and satisfaction of clients.
These objectives are achieved by using new and adequate GSE, continuously well-trained, qualified and friendly personnel.
Moldavian Airlines Ground Handling Department offers 24 hours a wide range of ground services at International Airport Chisinau for both General Aviation and Schedule Aviation, such as:
Services
- Representation and accommodation
Liaise with local authorities, support in obtaining traffic rights, airport slots, liaise with Carrier's third party providers, etc.
- VIP Services
VIP Lounge, VIP Service for passengers and Crew accommodation, VIP limousines, best hotel accommodation, transfer to/from hotel, according to customer requirements;
- Load control and communications
Electronic and / or manual load control and weight balance, loading/offloading, Load Instructions Report by certified staff, communication services (SITA, phone, fax e-mail).
- Passenger and baggage handling
EDP Check-in with well-trained, qualified, and multi-language speaking staff e.g. English, Romanian, Italian, German, French and Russian;
- Special services requiring passengers
Professional services are provided to VIP's, unaccompanied minors and PRM passengers using appropriate GSE.
- Cargo and mail handling
Cargo and mail processing, cargo loading and off-loading, coordinating with third parties, cargo documentation, liaison with customs, warehousing and cargo storage, dangerous goods processing, export, import, tracing of lost & found cargo and mail.
- Lost and found
Tracing of mishandled luggage quickly and professionally through the TTY World Tracer System.
- Ramp services
Full range of services in connection with Ramp Handling e.g: ramp supervision, aircraft marshalling, ramp to flight deck communication using headset, or standard marshaling visual signals, loading-offloading, pushback and towing, passenger stairs, comfortable apron passenger buses and crew cars, full baggage handling, GPU and ASU supply, etc.
- Aircraft servicing
Interior and exterior aircraft cleaning, water and toilet services, de-anti icing services, aircraft cooling and heating.
- Crew administration and support
Pre-flight and after flight crew briefing, providing of Aeronautical Information Package: Weather, NOTAMs, ATC flight plan assistance, managing of ATC slots, crew hotel reservation and transportation.
- Supervision and administration
Full supervision and coordination of ground handling services, preparation of all necessary documentation, deciding non-routine matters.
- Catering Handling
Having our own Catering Department, we are able to provide you with the best quality, and in timely manner catering services, for your passengers.

Liaise with local fuel suppliers;
